Floating Shrine Room at Madu River

A proposal for a small shrine room that would sit on the water at Madu River, Balapitiya. The form is a single timber pavilion, lit from within at night, so that from a distance the shrine appears to hover above the river. The structural challenge is the water, of course, and the long-term concern is environmental. We are still looking for a partner who can help us build it.
