Donation of Western Band Musical Instruments

Community Project · Gonapola, Sri Lanka

For a year we had been talking about the school in Gonapola. Palannoruwa Central College had a Western band, but the instruments were homemade out of buckets and tins. We collected donations from the studio network and bought the children proper trumpets, drums, uniforms and shoes. The project took a month. The first time we heard them play, it was worth more than the budget.
